LCC Classics Videos

Postby Wagon » Thu Dec 01, 2011 4:08 pm

Sorry if I'm stinkin' up the boards as a new member, with multiple new topics, but I thought some of you guys would like to check out, and hopefully contribute to a little series I started working on this summer/fall. Basically, I'm just documenting/filming some of the boulders that I think are the classics of the canyon. Trying to be as creative as I can with a bouldering film, but this is just really turning into a climbing porn project. Looking to get quite a few more edits out (3 more maybe?). Check em out, and let me know if you have any suggestions, problem suggestions, or if you wanna throw something down for the camera.

Episode 1
Episode 2
Episode 3
Episode 4

Cheers!

Die noob.

However, also continue to muck up the forums with awesome videos of lcc. Taking a new job, while great for my career and bank account, has proven not so nice to my fall season. Sitting around the office gazing longingly at LCC is about as close as I'm getting to getting out lately.

Good on ya for the vids, they're well put together and have some cool problems. Your wife/sister/cousin crushing stephan is impressive, that sucker is mean.

Suggestion: More girls in tank tops, less Indie music and more NOFX.

That is all.

Ha, thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback for sure. It's been fun climbing and filming all this stuff.

Got some more footage to throw together, so i'll post the third one as soon as I get it done. All-Thumbs, Copperhead, Red-Headed Stepchild, and.....whatever we film today will be in it! Keep it real.

Hey dudes/dudettes,

Finished the third edit last night, even though I wanted at least one more problem for the vid. Finger injury and cold ass weather has kept me inside during this last dry spell. Check it out and let me know what you think. Hope everyone is doing well and healthy.

Like it matters, grk cant climb V6 anyway. Vid looks good - I can't wait for you guys to run out of standard Vhard problems and start filming some REAL classic shit.

Apologies for the lack of the classics of the midrange grades. I had lots of footage of some moderates, but misplaced it....aka massive harddrive failure. Those are sure to come once spring hits and I can get out and film them. Any suggestions on must do's in the 3-5 range? Thinking Surfboard, Twisted, Deserter, probably one of the Mr. Smily's, also that tall edging problem on the Bog boulder (can't remember the name).......Open to suggestions! Had tons of fun putting this together. Now that its winter, lets have some actual snow!

Quality shit at V5 was discussed here:

http://www.utahclimbers.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3095

There's a good V4 problems thread lurking around somewhere. I also have a list of V4's I wanted to take video of that I still have yet to do because I'm super lazy. But that's at home.

Some things I'd personally like to see you shoot, in absolutely no particular order or grouping:

The high life, gentleman jack, prime rib, st nick, the journey, the big guy, toms problem, anything in the green a gully, the monolith not on toprope, i am sam, caveman (this video would probably suck but this problem is the shit), tequila sunset, and mormons strike again.

And this thing:
