I gave you my opinion yesterday, but I'll add it here.

If you are going to do High Plain Drifter then you also need to do Change of Heart. I think it's better. I've completed neither, but have gotten high enough on both to have an opinion.
Up, way up.

I liked HPD more than change of heart. It is more rewarding.

You need to add Checkerboard and Strength in Numbers to the top of your list.

Don't get sucked into Stained Glass all trip. If the checkerboard is too easy to be fun for you, then go for it.

If you like techno-classics look at Sheepherder, Hunk, Birthday Direct, the Bachar wall, French Press at the sads, the Green wall, Rock Creek etc. Put your LCC to the test.

Unless you get really cold really easily, camp in the Buttermilks! Take a look at dirt roads going left off bmilk rd before you see Ambrosia.

There's free camping in the Buttermilks or nice spots by the Owens River near the pit that are $10 (with water) . Horton Creek closes Sunday.

Be sure to hit the Druids and get on Skye Dance and Wave Wall. Don't get sucked into spending all your time at the Thunder Wall. Don't let the 30min hike scare you.

Every Color You Are and Morning Dove at the Happy's are great.

Rio's Crack at the Sads.

Seven Spanish Angels (AKA: The Ruckus) at Get Carter is great too.

Oh dont worry, I'm planning on giving that thing all of 3 goes and then bouncing. That does not look like a problem I'll be able to just casually do, so I'm not gonna waste my first time in bishop flailing on it.

Thanks for the camping beta folks.... I am gonna end up just finding a nice looking spot on buttermilk road and sticking to that.

Anyone else think hitting up the druids for a day is worth it? Stuff there looks super cool and I definitely dont mind a hike.

it's been about fifteen years, but we used to camp at the very top of the Owen's River Gorge access road.

Take baths at the hot pots by the green church.

good times.

Prolly too late, but the sit to Fly Boys is good. Others that haven't been mentioned... Painted Cave, Zen Flute, that thing with two huge moves that stands all alone between the two afore mentioned, Soul Slinger. But definitely do Checkerboard... flashed it in ~2001 and couldn't do it last trip... gotta love it when that happens!

Tried soul slinger, got completely crushed. Never even made it out to fly boy or checkerboard... that place is friggin huge, there's WAY too much to do out there.

One of these days I'll post pics, I swear.

I did say I'd post pics one of these days. I just didn't mention it'd be 6 years later.

EDIT - Apparently you can't use IMG to link photos from google drive? No wonder nobody comes here anymore shaft! Also you never return my phone calls.
