Not trying to be a dick by asking...these guys send light years harder than me all day long, and are good guys...but wasn't the route in the photo rap drilled?(NTTIAWWT)

Just curious. Correct me if I'm wrong...which I probably am. Big respect to the boys of course....just looking for the facts.

I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

page 52.... I was just wondering if "Flirtin Death" was drilled ground up, is all, after reading the text. Proud line either way. Was making no commenst to anyone's style. Like I said....light years above my skill set in all regards.

they did drill it on rap. they had cleaned it and TRed it so to drill on lead seemed kind of contrived after all that monkeying around, was what I was told.

I think Pete V was gonna do it without the bolts? he did get the first OS. crazy man

I need to go send it if anyone wants to get on it this fall. i really like it, it climbs well

The fish certainly appears to have some girth if you observe it in the context of its minuscule pond.

Well stated. And I bet these guys were the first to say something to the mag if it was accidentally mis-labelled.

"Why don't you take your glasses off and apologize to us!"

"I'll say sorry but I'm not taking off my glasses"

"And why not"

"Cause... They're famous"

Why don't we talk about the real source of all this blatant publicity that's eroding Utah's "there's nothing but choss here" myth? The man behind the camera? ANDREW BURR!

This is a funny thread. People cried when AF was bolted, The Snow Bird Comp came to town, limestone was rap bolted(god forbid) etc, etc, etc. Clue in youngsters the Wasatch ain't no secret. The only thing protecting the sport you discover 5 years ago after your skateboard broke is you. Do it with class and a welcoming spirit not a last one in close the door attitude.

Someone should've spent a little more time reading through old threads here.....

I'd be willing to bet that the average climbing career length of active users on here is much longer than spuds....
