So we will be heading up with the in-laws to Bear Lake in a few weeks. This will be my first trip up there. We will be staying in Garden City. Is there any climbing/bouldering close to there? Thanks.

Assuming you'll be driving through Logan Canyon to get to the lake, there are plenty of limestone crags throughout with sport climbs at all grades. Some are literally right on the side of the road, and most are shaded at various times of day. There's a good guidebook available, or online beta.
