anyone out there snowshoe? how are snow totals at lower elev. in slc, ie millcreek, lower trails in BCC. It would seem O-town is boycotting snow this year but rumor has it SLC has been getting some. I convinced some of my friends to get snowshoes for xmas this year to enjoy some cardio and now they all hate me because we have no snow here.
to validate this post on a climbers site...how is the great white? did scruffy band ever achieve climbable conditions during those brief cold spells? the ampitheater above my house in ogden is teasing me. it never forms but the top 100' has some thin continuous ice, which means the bottom three hundred feet is still rock. I have never climbed it but if even half of it formed it would be fun. it would take the right amount of snow melt above and inversion below to get that thing frozen.
