Yeah yeah that was me with the pack of labs... They needed the exercise, I needed to forget that everyone I tried to convince to go out and ski or climb was either watching the superbowl or going to the resort. Looks like they saved my ass since I was thinking about skiing the N face of Gobb solo.

The guy from channel5 guy wanted me to talk about the snow conditions and why would someone ever want to go out with such high avalanche risk; I declined since I felt like making comments was a little distasteful while not knowing if someone was dead. It looked like the initial report on the avalanche center website for one of those Gobblers Knob slides was filed by certain climber/skiers with the initials JK, DB and LB. Maybe they will comment.
