Posting that pic was dumb, I think it should come down and be forgotten, the route not so much. I'd like to believe that a few hundred people a year will get a major kick out of spotting some very out of the way petroglyphs which will never suffer from traffic. 120' of air seems like a really good way to protect rock art from vandalism...

If a Utahn finds a petroglyph in the desert and it falls off, does it make the same sound as if a Coloradan finds it?

I wouldn't under estimate climbers. I've seen us do some pretty stupid shit, including myself I'm sure. It can only take one person to ruin it.
Sure it is up there and will not be seen by most, but considering the access issues down there, it is probably a good idea to keep if off the radar.

And no to the same sound question. With stupid Utahns finding it, you would probably hear sounds like a gun blast!

PRIME EXAMPLE OF HOW STUPIDLY SELFISH WE CLIMBERS CAN BE:
have you been on this route? it is no closer to rock art then ,pink flamingo,Anasazi ,the price of evil, any route on the sparks wall, blue grandma, way Rambo wall,an on an on should those walls/routs be closed? ruins crack on battle of the bulge still has anchors an chalk all over it! that route is in a more sensitive zone then the chimney i put up that has no art at the start. an you cant even touch it if you wanted to as it is up 4ft an left of my anchors. that are black an brown. i wasn't looking to put up a route "by" some rock art.. but 120 feet up the only people gonna see this art are climbers? i don't see how i will be responsible for access issues? this climb is out of sight from the road till you top out, the hang at the base is in a cave.. we are all responsible for access issues in the creek....

Now go remove your post in reference to it so nobody from the BLM stumbles on it and closes all of Supercrack because of your ass...

That time when I was about to ask you guys here on UTClimbers about a boulder problem. But just before I posted the question I thought, "Why don't I look this up on the proj just in case some doofus posted it there."

Much fun ensues

I am planning to be in SLC between April 20 and May 4

Thanks

That is just too good not to be a troll... I might die if I saw someone approach Buschwack with a pair of crampons and a snow tool!

And CWWWWWWastson, quit stalking me on the proj please. Or I'll make you cry like I did that kid.

I promise I wasn't stalking you but totally snortled when I saw it.

And I gotta say, traversing on the slopers into the shothole then up to the top is a worthy little problem. Super fun stuff!

How long has it been since I even saw a new (for me) problem in LCC?

totally! start sitting on the edges- far right, traverse left into the shot hole, pull up and throw.
bam, greasy burger traverse.

How do you guys even find this crap on the proj? I swear I can't figure out half of what the hell you're talking about.

By John Marek:@tenesmus Just because you enjoy the roped climbing doesn't mean you get to disagree with my comment about the chossy bouldering below v7. Even you describe the bouldering as choss in your photos. All I'm saying is, if you can't climb v7 then you should plan on rope climbing if you want to have a good time.
By Boissal: I've never touched a V7 and I've spent over a week bouldering at Ibex, having a blast the whole time. Maybe walk past the Red Monster?
Tenesmus' comment was tongue in cheek. Finding choss at Ibex isn't that easy. As far as disagreeing with comments, I guess I'm gonna need to apply for a permit...
By tenesmus: Actually, I get to do what I wanna do.
