I have composed the Traveler Buttress rap song (to be sung to Ludacris' "My Chick Bad"):

My crack hard
My crack slick
My crack spit you out like you really wish it di'int.

My crack hard, harder harder than yers
My crack do stuff that I can't even put in words.
Its polish don't stop
Its scuffle don't quit
So, fool, pipe down - you ain't talkin' bout sh*t

My crack hard, tell me if you seen her
She always bring the brutal like Venus and Serena
All white rock, all wide route
and all wide jams, crack lookin like stout.
No time for games, she's full grown
My crack hard, tell your crack to go home!"

Ok, so maybe not the best part because that guy is a natural born writer.

Nah, he's talking about AB and the crew and their magazine article. Green River Towers.

And those towers are located how far downstream from Desolation Canyon?

I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I am looking for a rock climbing partner in the Lehi Utah area. I am new to this sport, but I want to become the best climber ever. I have only been climbing one month now at the Lehi Recreation Center, and I am certified to top rope belay. I don't own any transportation, or have a cell phone, but I check my e-mail at the library every day. Lets go climbing!!!

Ben Folsom wrote:Tristan, I hope you read all these posts. We all get good laughs at reading your blog, and everything else where your escapades show up. You are crying about eating pizza and being a poor college student who spent all their money on 250 bolts and anchor hardware to equip a sport climb on Squaw Peak. I read somewhere else that your little group of worshipers contributes to your "bolt fund", so I guess you didn't even buy all that hardware with your own money. No one owes you anything my friend. Nobody wants to buy your used ropes. 250 bolts in two years is pocket change in comparison to many other people who have been establishing QUALITY routes all over the Wasatch and Utah for many years, and I have never, EVER heard of them asking for a handout or praise and recognition for what they are doing. If you aren't climbing for yourself Tristan, whats the point.

PS- I'm very sorry you had to endure some hot days while working on your route... You may be the only climber in history who has had to suffer with 90+ degree weather. I hope you don't get premature wrinkles on that pretty little face.

Yesssss. It's always been my goal to be internet famous. I guess I can check that one off the bucket list and bury that sex tape.

As far as a group of worshipers that contributes to my bolt fund goes... Man, wouldn't that be awesome? But I might venture to say that not everything you read online is 100% accurate. I have one buddy who supplied maybe 20 or 30 of the hangers for Squaw Peak. Another partner occasionally buys a set of anchors or two. That's about it. I've bought everything else.

I'm thrilled that I have been able to entertain you though my blog, and you can sleep soundly knowing that I will continue to do so in the future.

I'm sorry if any of you have climbed some of my routes and haven't liked them. If you haven't climbed my routes and still don't like them (or me, since you're right in deducing that I am actually a pretty terrible human being), then there's nothing I can do about that. Except maybe bust out a few more cans of canned air... Which, of course, I accept charitable donations of :D But don't worry, I'll take all the climbing gear out of my trunk as I drive up to Salt Lake to pick them up so that my car gets better gas mileage. Gotta save the environment at every opportunity, right?

Cheers, guys. I hope we can climb together at some point in the future. If that never happens, then maybe at the very least I can continue to provide you with forum fodder. I think I can.
