Re: Winter trad climbing in Utah

Maybe I just have a bad attitude? This. BCC trad is brainy as hell, none of that plug and go bullshit you find on granite. You have to hang around scoping tons of in-obvious placements and get hopelessly pumped (and scared) in the process. When you get a piece though, it's typically bomber. There a...

Re: Winter trad climbing in Utah

+1. November/December is LCC season with some sunny BCC thrown in. No better time to crush slabs. Jan/Feb/Mar is St George and if you keep your eyes on the weather Ibex, the Swell, Moab, the Creek, etc... Red Rock is too far and too full of beaters. The nights may be painful but the days are worth t...

There is no such thing. Just a bunch of argumentative beaters hoping to send the pink problem at the gym.

Re: your mp moment of zen...

I was wondering how a person becomes a MP Forum administrator? Do you have to be "connected" or serve a type of apprenticeship? The reason being is that I'm trying to add some synergy to my resume, I think an experience like this in my background would look really nice to a prospective em...

Re: your mp moment of zen...

This one will make GRK's nuts twitch... I'm wondering if people who down grade this aren't starting from a sitting start. I feel this is necessary to make the grade and really should be in the description. I know I greased off this thing more times than I did White Collar Redneck (the other .11b I'v...

Re: your mp moment of zen...

Funny stuff following up a change in the consensus rating from average to median... How about a bot that tracks the ratings of individual users. If their ratings are consistently above the median, 3 gunks climbers are dispatched to their door to endlessly lecture about kids these days. If their rati...

Re: your mp moment of zen...

There's also this: No reason for these 4 bolts to be at the bottom. In the old days, this would be controversial, but now people are soft. At least I wish there were only 2 bolts like there used to be. Its pretty much 4th class up to the crack. And this: I was wondering how long this outing might ta...

Re: your mp moment of zen...

How about this which I'm not sure was included in the above:

A bolted line had appeared on the left side of the cliff, just to the left of Jack the Ripper, that seems to squeeze in on Life Sentence. Did those bolts get pulled?

It's been a while... Time for a return to the Castle: http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm120/boissal/0712141244_zps186aab0a.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm120/boissal/0712141521a_zps78e268df.jpg I apparently still can't read the topo. Re: your mp moment of zen...

It would be nice if there was a personal option to filter the more explicit images that show up in the "pictures of the moment" feature of Mountain Project's home page. For the most part, I enjoy seeing these pictures, but I don't want to see an over-head view of a permiscuous/busty woman...
