Jonathan, just for clarity, were your efforts applied to Snowflakes or Bloodline? The thread was a little confusing. Either way, good job! The route on the second tier is probably El Guapo (5.12). A little scratchy in the middle, but ends on a really nice bolt-protected finger rail traverse left to ...

Yeah, but the further off the road you go the longer the grade gets -- looks like V 5.11+ AO (the whipper) B3 (yes, the sidepull is off).

I'm unclear about the current state of the bolts on the free variation into the S-crack itself. I am fine with putting 3/8 in. I'll even pitch in on the effort if someone will share belay time.

Buena Vista wall?

Apparently Dave Graham is tearing up southern Utah. Flashing 14s at the Wailing Wall, blah, blah. But Climbing mentions him flashing Paleoman at the Buena Vista Wall. Anyone know, is this in the St. George area?

For sure, the Horn and other X crags are poorly kept secrets at best. It's always interesting to see the underlying agenda (money, self-promotion, whatever) of the first person to put it in print. Not trying to throw guilt here. Everyone does it at some point.

Funny how some folks will get all tight-lipped and territorial when the crag is in their backyard (Millcreek), but then sell an article about a remote crag for a quick buck and feign secrecy. Too bad, another special place soon to be crawling with Coloradans.

Pretty fun stuff eh Brian? The upper pitches definitely keep your attention. Scott Adamson and Darren K. are to be thanked for their big effort dragging hose and guiding the water in Provo. We descended from the Farmer's Daughter's anchors. This was the former iteration of the farmed stuff which for...

Well it's getting done a lot now. Went up yesterday to avoid the crowds, and judging by the number of beat-out hooks and screw holes I'd say the traffic is pretty steady. The crux right now is P7--no ice touching on any of the variations. Seventh Heaven is almost totally dry (too bad, a great pitch)...

An update: Fang, Millers, Bridalveil L&R, White Nightmare and p1-4 of Stairway have all filled in nicely. All this is pretty obvious from the road. Sharpen it up and stick it in.
