Re: your mp moment of zen...

It was nice to see that Tim (Bushwack video) has no concern for the "no dogs in canyon" rules. Yet another example why climbers are getting a bad reputation with the land managers.

2" of snow in my front yard today, not much of a thaw. Never trust KSL. :o
Damn, I racked up for a day at the slips based on your post this morning too...

Re: Snow and Ice 10/11 Season

Something to consider from MP http://www.mountainproject.com/v/climbing_gear_discussion/psa_anchor_failure_stairway_to_heaven_provo_ut/106980030 I have always wondered what kind of pressure those bolts receive, having the chains frozen into the ice. 250 gallons of ice, at 8 lbs per gallon will equal...

Re: Climbers and Suicide

You just never know what is going on in peoples brains. true that Backclip. You can never be sure what a man carries in the dark corners of the mind. Most of the time, these people have no idea what they carry in the dark corners of their minds either. Oh the joys of "mental land mines". ...

Re: Joe's and Price Ice

Saw a photo of someone on pricicle/ dirtcicle, it appears to be from this weekend. It was thin, and the top was not in, but someone was climbing it. I hope this helps NS. I may go and check Mary's lake this week, if the snow isn't too deep.

Re: Joe's and Price Ice

Given the two days of strong south winds, its safe to say there is no ice yet. Hopefully it will be in soon.

Re: Ice and snow pics

We were there March 7th to climb Angel of Fear. ATC was gone, Candlestick was standing but the top had melted away. Angel of fear was really wet, and fell down four hours after we tried it  . Squash head had two large cracks atop the first pillar, but had a solid base. From a distance, Backoff...

Re: colon cancer awareness day.

Its great of GRK to bring this issue to light. What is disturbing, is that GRK wears a "fancy lone rangers" mask and leather chaps while he is penetrating another victims back door. He enjoys his job WAAAAAAAAY too much....

Check out the area around Green River UT. Within three miles of town, there is all sorts of bouldering in the watermelon fields.

Re: chicken screamers

It seems you have too much time on your hands, and waste it with useless searches on the internet. I hear there will be a demo day on the GWI in mid march for this product. Get in line early, participants will be fed corn meal and steroids. "Chick" screamers will also be out soon, they wil...
